Brethren,
We would like to invite You to march in the 21st Annual Felton Remembers Parade. The Parade this Year will be held on Sat. May 23rd at 10:00 AM and to honor the Veterens they will be marching at the head of the Parade. Participants need to be in staging area [San Lorenzo Lumber (Probuild) parking lot] which is next to Roaring Camp Railroad by 8:30 AM. The Lodge is marching alongside our Caliope (the old fashioned buggied pipe organ). We will leave the staging area by 9:45 to start marching to HWY 9. You may also sit and watch the Parade from a variety of spots, I am told if you park west of HWY 9 in Felton is the easiest, but I prefer to walk in from Safeway myself. The Parade concludes after 11 AM but don't forget the Covered Bridge Festival around the corner at the Covered Bridge Park. The Lodge has a booth where we are selling coffee and ice coffee. I would Especially like to express gratitude to Jim More who is helping setup and reserve the booth and Keith Dallman who acquired a donation of Coffee and cups along with a personal donation, nice show! Show your support for this event and bring the kids, this parade has a history for having the most youngsters!
Fraternally,
Richard Sturgeon
