Santa Cruz - San Lorenzo Valley Lodge has a long and rich history. Since 1855 our lodge continues to be a place where men of good character come together and who desire to make a difference. By practicing the principle tenets of freemasonry; Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth, and the cardinal virtues of Temperance, Fortitude, Prudence and Justice, we make a difference in ourselves, our community and country.
We believe in the Fatherhood of God and a tolerance for the religious beliefs of all men. Through the Brotherhood of Man we enjoy lifelong friendships. We hold that the search for knowledge is a life-long pursuit. Through Masonic formation we study the liberal arts and sciences, and learn important life lessons, which enable us, to set an example and inspire others to make a positive impact within the community.
Young and old are welcome at our lodge. We embrace diversity and cherish the experiences we gain from the richness of our member’s lives. We provide inspiration, guidance and support for our younger members, care and kindness for our mature members. Widows and orphans of our departed brothers receive compassion and support.
Santa Cruz - San Lorenzo Valley Lodge #38 emanates pride and compassion and is respected by all who know it. The lights and working tools of freemasonry continuously inspire us to be honorable, ethical and spiritual. We strive to improve our society and honor the history of our fraternity.
